Romney -- Contraception Working Fine

I got quite a laugh at the Presidential Debates in New Hampshire when George Stephanopoulos kept quizzing Mitt Romney about contraception. He just wouldn't leave it alone. He kept going after Romney, hoping to get him to say he believed states should ban contraceptives. I thought Romney's response was on target when he said, "contraception -- it's working just fine, leave it alone."

Was that a question to get Romney to look like a stiff, uptight, controlling Republican Mormon -- or what? We  believe in the sanctity of life, and marriage between a man and woman, but really, Mormons aren't going to tell you how many babies you should have, or what kind of contraceptive you should use. We stay out of your bedroom. That was ridiculous, and I can see why ABC pulled the plug on the debate and cut it short -- their moderators were looking awful.


When Romney turned to Ron Paul and referred to him as the Constitutionalist to address this question, I wanted him to add, "and the gynecologist." (a gynecologist who wants to be president still makes me laugh)
